WIMBLEDON WINE COMPANY APPOINTED AS AGENT FOR MENDELSON DESSERT WINES
Napa, California — The Wimbledon Wine Company is pleased to announce its appointment as the exclusive national agent for the Mendelson Dessert Wines. Founded in 2000 by
William Leigon, Wimbledon is a full-service sales and marketing company representing several distinguished wine brands from Northern California and New Zealand.
Mendelson
Vineyards, owned by Richard and Marilyn Mendelson, produces two distinctive dessert wines, Muscat Canelli and Pinot Gris. These naturally sweet and lightly fortified wines resurrect a centuries-old tradition of Crimean wine so loved by the Russian Czars. Mendelson is the only producer of these wines in the United States. They are produced with meticulous care and have won rave reviews from Wine Spectator Magazine as well as several awards from the San Francisco International Wine Competition. The Wimbledon Wine Company takes great pride in adding these ‘jewels’ to its portfolio.
Mendelson will be added to The Wimbledon Wine Company’s selection of premium estate brands, which include Leigon’s own brand,
Huntington Wine
Cellars; Sonoma County’s historic Martini & Prati Winery;
Hahn Estates and

Lynskey’s Wairau Peaks from Marlborough New Zealand.
