It is our pleasure to announce that Mr. Peter Ginocchio has joined Wimbledon Wine Company as our Southern Regional Manager, effective January 5, 2004.  Pete a native of Long Island, New York, has a degree in Sociology from Fairfield University in Connecticut.  He moved to Florida in 1977.

Pete comes to us with 26 years in the Florida Wine and Spirits industry.  Pete’s experience spans his years with Associated Hosts Corporation, Beverly Hills, CA; Southern Wine and Spirits, Tampa, FL; Wine Merchants/Johnson Brothers, Tampa, FL; and Opici/House of Burgundy, Lake Park, FL.   As Sales Manager, and Marketing Brand Manager for both Wine Merchants and Opici, Pete has been a great supporter of Wimbledon Wine Company portfolio, as well as other brands under his responsibility.  Pete has an infectious smile and a great love for his work.  As a Sales Manager and Brand Manager he has done an excellent job on motivating his sales people and creatively merchandising his brands for success.   We know Pete will make significant contributions to the future success of our brands in this most important market in the country.

When Pete married his wife Lynne in 1990, he became the Step Father for four wonderful children.  Pete is a big sports fan, and splits his loyalties between the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  He enjoys the outdoors, and is an aficionado of wine and food pairing.

Please join us in welcoming Pete.  He will be an important new asset in building Wimbledon Wine Company brands with you.  Pete will be working in the field, planning program strategies, and will be a reliable and a supportive force focusing most of his time throughout the states of Florida and Tennessee.
